BERLIN, GERMANY- Acer Inc. (NASDAQ: ASIYF) Acer has decided to load its guns with new smartphones and fire them all at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. Not a bad move, given that this company possesses both the resources and the skillset to pull out something like that.
From all the range of new smartphones designed by Acer, the top is the Acer Liquid Z630. It is a strong opponent to all other midrange smartphones and it provides good performance with a pretty stylish design that is hard not to notice.
The Acer Liquid Z630 comes with a 5.5inch screen running on HD 720p resolution (~267 ppi pixel density), a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. Given the size of the screen, one would expect to see a bulky phone that could get hard to use with one hand, But on the contrary, Acer seems to have done a great job with narrow bezels. Both the back and the front side are equipped with an 8MP camera while under the hook there is a battery-beast of 4,000mAh that can keep you going for days without a single charge.
As for the design, the back is made from polycarbonate plastic, with a brushed effect which is arguably a poor effort to make the phone more attractive, according to Acer’s publicity shots.
The Z630 is expected to go on sale initially in Europe, this September for a very reasonable price tag of 210 euros -which is approximately £155, US$235 or AU$340. It is truly a considerable choice for those who wish to combine performance and style at a very fair price.
So given that September is already here, you should not waste any more time. If time to get a new smartphone has come for you, but at the same time you don’t feel like giving a large amount of money, go for the Acer Liquid Z630 and see how it fits you.
