Sony Launches Soundbar HT-ST5000 in India

Sony, the Japanese consumer electronics major, has rolled out its 7.1.2 channel flagship Soundbar HT-ST5000 sporting Dolby Atmos in the country. Having a price tag of Rs 150,990, the gadget will be accessible at all outlets of Sony Center and other important electronic shops all over the country.

The Soundbar is said to give superior quality of audio with S-Force Front PRO Surround technology. As per the firm, sound quality is improved with a 180-mm Sigma Subwoofer unit and a magnetic coaxial fluid speaker that gives out a clearer bass and an unbiased sound.

The Soundbar HT-ST5000 appears with digital amplifier of S-Master HX that lowers distortion for accurate results with high frequency ranges, which is more than 40 kHz. It also has DSEE HX and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, which up scales your current source of sound to near high-resolution quality of sound. It also approaches with a wireless subwoofer that has 1 x HDMI ARC output, 3 x HDCP 2.2 matched HDMI inputs, analogue AUX, optical SPDIF, and a connection for USB.

The Soundbar also consists of NFC and Bluetooth as options for connectivity. Consumers can also link the device to the Internet with in-built Wi-Fi for streaming music from devices and immediate access to music services through built-in Chromecast. Apart from this, it is well-matched with Sony Music Center App. This app was earlier dubbed as SongPal. This allows you to handle the music systems via a tablet or a smartphone. The app can also be utilized to customize settings of sound to make sure the unbiased audio.

In addition to this, Sony rolled out Soundbar HT-CT290 with a price tag of Rs 19,990 in India. The HT-CT290 sound bar is well-matched with S-Force Pro front surround sound with sound deflector of Sony and gives 330W peak power. Speaking of the connectivity, the new device provides USB and Bluetooth and 1 x HDMI port.

In a nutshell, the new Soundbar HT-ST5000 from device is hell of a device that promises to give out premium quality sound. But the price of the device will hamper the sale in India.
