Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Gets New Update

Samsung has been in limelight for its most awaited Samsung Galaxy S8. But the company has not lost focus on its other smartphones. The company recently launched a new update for its Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Before we discuss about the update, let us have a quick look at the specs of the smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 with a 5.7-inch screen. It offers Super AMOLED touchscreen with 73.4% of screen to body ratio. It also has a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with a pixel density of 518 ppi.

Coming towards the software and hardware updates, the device currently runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and has a GPU set of Adreno 420. The handset also offers a 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal memory. In addition to this, the memory can also be extended up to 256 GB with the help of MicroSD card.

Moving towards the camera, the handset has 16 MP of rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, OIS, and autofocus. The device further has a 3.7 MP of front camera with f/1.9 aperture. In the end, the smartphone has a battery worth 3,220 mAh power that is capable of giving 20 hours of talktime and 82 hours of music play time. The device is available in frosted white, charcoal black, bronze gold, and blossom pink color variants. Launched in October 2014, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 now has a price tag of Rs 27,899.

As per the company, the new update for this phone will optimize the battery usage. The new update will come with a version number of XXS1DQC3 and will be around 403 MB in size. This update will also include the android March security update.
