The brand new soft gold colored OnePlus 3 can now be purchased in the United States from the official website. The new color variant is priced at 399 USD, which is exactly same as the price of the Graphite model.
The new version of the OnePlus 3 is identical to the Graphite variant except the color difference. The soft gold version is scheduled to go on sale in Canada, Europe, and Hong Kong from 1st August 2016.
The OnePlus 3 is the third flagship device from OnePlus. It is constructed with exquisite quality aluminum, which makes the phone both look good and feel premium. The smartphone sports a 5.5 inch Optic AMOLED screen. The display boasts a resolution of 1080 X 1920 (Full HD) and has a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch. The ten point multi-touch display is shielded by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) ticks inside the handset. The quad-core processor comes with two clusters of four Kyro cores. The high-performance cluster has two of the cores clocked at 2.15 GHz each and the power saving cores runs at 1.6 GHz each.
The Adreno 530 GPU looks after the graphics. The OnePlus 3 runs on custom made Oxygen OS layered above Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The smartphone comes equipped with 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM combined with 64 GB of internal storage space.
There is a 16 Mega Pixels rear camera with a wide f/2.0 aperture size. The camera is enhanced by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The latest Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) is also available. 4K 2160P video recording is natively supported at 30 frames per second, and slow motion HD 720p videos can be shot at 120 frames per second. The selfie camera of the phone is of 8 Mega Pixels resolution with a wide aperture size of f/2.0. It can shoot 1080P videos at 30 fps.
The OnePlus 3 can take in two SIM cards smartphone with dual standby and 4G LTE. It measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.4 mm and has a weight of 158 grams. The device comes with an array of connectivity options such as 802.11ac dual band WiFi with DLNA and WiFi Direct, Bluetooth v4.2 with LE and A2DP, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS and Near Field Communication (NFC). FM Radio is absent, though.
The latest Type-C reversible USB connector is present in the smartphone. There is a fingerprint sensor, barometer, compass and other usual sensors. The phone is juiced up by a 3000mAh non-removable Lithium-ion battery.
