Motorola Nexus 6 Eligible for Android 8.0

After declaring LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P, Google has announced another smartphone that will be compatible with Android 8.0 Oreo. The company has now added Motorola Nexus 6 in the list of smartphones that will be eligible for Android 8.0 Oreo. Let us have a glance at the specs of Motorola Nexus 6.

The Motorola Nexus 6 has a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 with a 5.96-inch screen. It offers AMOLED touchscreen with 74.1% of screen to body ratio. It also has a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a pixel density of 493 ppi.

Coming towards the software and hardware updates, the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and has a GPU set of Adreno 420. The handset also offers a 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB/64 GB of internal memory. The memory cannot be extended with the help of MicroSD card.

Moving towards the camera, the handset has 13 MP of rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, OIS, and dual-LED (ring) flash. The device also has 2 MP of front camera with f/2.2 aperture. In the end, the smartphone has a battery worth 3,220 mAh power that is capable of giving 330 hours of standby time and 24 hours of talk time. The device is available in midnight blue and cloud white color variants. Lastly, the Motorola Nexus 6 is currently available with a price tag of Rs 16,999.

Well, the new Motorola Nexus 6 also seems to be good phone in comparison to LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P. One thing to notice, which is very obvious, is that the company has targeted all its manufactured smartphones.

Well, for now, all we can do is just wait for the new Android 8.0 Oreo to hit the market.
