On October 10, 2017, Xiaomi finally launched its premium smart phone, MI MIX2.
Last year, after the company was unsuccessful in launching its first bezel-less phone named Mi MIX in India, the fans were very disappointed. But there is a great news for all the fans. The Mi MIX 2 smartphone will soon arrive and make up for your loss.
There is some great exciting news for all the Mi MIX 2 buyers out there, before the official announcement of the phone. “The upcoming Mi MIX 2 would be available only on Flipkart” and it was confirmed by Flipkart in an email statement sent to “International Business Times India”.
Xiaomi will soon be launching its new premium leading smartphone, Mi MIX 2, solely on Flipkart and nowhere else. Flipkart took this decision after seeing the huge response from buyers when it had launched Redmi Note 4 and Mi A1 earlier this year.
Along with the customers, the launch of the smartphone Mi MIX 2 in India is important for Xiaomi as well, since the company till date has not launched any smart phone although it had a record breaking sale of its pocket-friendly phones. In just less than a year, the Redmi Note 4 had become India’s largest selling smartphone and had gathered 5 Million users.
One of the phones launched by Xiaomi, which was their first Android phone, named Mi A1 was given top rating on Flipkart by its users. The newly launched phone Mi MIX 2 could be a game-changer, and hopefully, it will break all the previous records of the phones. But it’s too early to predict how will be the performance of the phone. But, seeing the success of the phone in the international market, a similar success in India is predicted by the makers.
The handset has DCI-P3 color gamut 403ppi with a 5.99-inch Full HD bezel-free display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 6GB RAM powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset and has three options for storage: 256 GB, 128GB, and 64 GB. These are some exciting features of the newly launched Mi MIX 2.
With full ceramic body, storage of 128GB, and RAM of 8 GB, Xiaomi also offers a special edition of Mi MIX 2. But, when will Xiaomi launch this edition in India is still not known.
A 5MP front snapper, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens 12MP with OIS rear-facing camera are some of the other features of the not-yet-launched phone. The handset also has facial recognition feature and supports 4G LTE.
The cost of the phone remains a big mystery.
