Apple iOS 9 for iPad and iPhone Jailbreak may come soon

Apple has already released its first update for its new iOS 9 and now both iPad and iPhone users keep asking the same question: Can either iOS 9 or iOS 9.0.1 be jailbroken?

First of all, for those of you who are not as familiar as the rest of us tech addicts, here’s a brief update. Jailbreaking is the process of removing hardware restrictions imposed by Apple, so that the user gains full access to all third party apps he wishes to download.

For the record, Jailbreaking is considered a felony only in the US and only for iPad users. iPhone users on the other hand, have nothing to worry about.

As for the jailbreaking options with the iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.1, we have to say that Apple has made numerous improvements with its new operating system – and the first update as well – but we don’t think it has reached the point where they have actually no flaws on their code in order to prevent jailbreaking.

In the past, teams such as TaiG and Pangu had managed to jailbreak previous versions such as the iOS 8.4 and the iOS 8.4.1. But all those vulnerabilities that were found in those previous versions have been covered in the new iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.1 making it impossible to be jailbroken for the time being.

Well the above statement is not entirely true , as a YouTuber known by the name iH8Sn0w uploaded a video in which he showed the world that he managed to jailbreak iOS 9. However iH8Sn0w made clear that he wasn’t planning to make iOS 9 jailbreak available for the public.

It may strike as a frustrating decision but at least he proved that it can be done, so TaiG, Pangu or other experienced hacking teams, will certainly figure out sooner or later.

The only problem is that now there is not only the iOS 9 but its update as well that need to be jailbroken. That equals to double work for any hacking team that pulls it through. And they should definitely move fast, before Apple releases another update, which will complicate things.
