HTC Evo 10 Gets New OS Update

The Taiwanese tech giant HTC is quite in form with its recent launched HTC U Ultra and U Play. Well, the company has launched the new OS update for one of its smartphone. The company gave the new Android 7.1 Nougat update to its HTC Evo 10. Have a look at the specs of the smartphone.

HTC Evo 10 Gets New OS Update

The HTC Evo 10 currently has the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update. This indicates that the smartphone will have the latest features preloaded in it from the beginning. There is no need of externally upgrading the OS of the smartphone. Moreover, the phone will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and a resolution of 1440 x 2560. It also has a protection of Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone has a 705 body-to-screen ratio and a pixel density of 534 ppi.

Adding to the list of features, the smartphone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor. The phone also has a 3 GB of RAM and a GPU chip set of Adreno 430. In the imaging duties, the phone has a 16 MP of rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8 MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The device also has an internal storage of 32 GB. This storage can be expanded up to 256 GB with the help of external MicroSD card. Moving towards the battery, the phone has a 3,200mAh of battery that is capable to give 480 hours of standby time and 23 hours of talktime.

HTC Evo 10 is launched in two color variants—gunmetal and glacier silver. The phone is priced for Rs 48,990.

Well, the company launched the new Nougat update too early for the HTC Evo 10 even though it was already running on the Android 7.0 Nougat. That’s kind of interesting. We hope to see more devices to get the new OS update.
