A new video of the Apple iPhone 7 has been leaked by an anonymous Weibo user. This time, the smartphone has been compared side by side with an iPhone 6S.
Rumors regarding the upcoming smartphone from Apple has been intensifying as its launch nears. Last, we got to see a short seven-second video clip of the device. Now a video stretching for more than two minutes has exposed the upcoming phone even more.
From numerous leaks and rumours, we already know that the iPhone 7 will come with a 4.7-inch display. In this video, the forthcoming device being showcased beside the iPhone 6S confirms the fact that it has a display measuring the same as its predecessor.
iPhone 7 Specs
The video also verifies speculations mentioning that the iPhone 7 will come with a larger camera lens. The lens does bulge out more from the phone. Camera hole has also grown about 25 percent in circumference indicating serious upgrades in the camera department. The camera placement has also shifted a bit towards the corner of the phone as seen in previously exposed images.
In line with previous leaks, the device also comes with antenna lines running along the edges instead of horizontally on the back of the phone. As expected, the smartphone also lacks a headphone port, which is replaced by an extra speaker grille suggesting the possibility of stereo audio output via the loudspeaker.
The upcoming iPhone 7 has a similar appearance with the iPhone 6S with a smooth metal body having curved edges. Their dimensions also appear pretty similar with almost same thickness, height, and width.
Exclusion of the headphone port may help Apple to bring a certified waterproof and dustproof iPhone. Rumours have suggested that the new iPhone may come sporting 3 GB RAM instead of 2 GB of its previous generation. A brand new powerful A10 processor designed by Apple is anticipated to tick inside the device.
It is also anticipated that Apple will be ditching the 16 GB variant of iPhone from this year, replacing it with 32 GB one and adding a new 256 GB variant in the line-up. The company is scheduled to launch the iPhone 7 along with an iPhone 7 Plus in the September.
