With that in mind, we accumulated every piece of info concerning the device’s pricing, specifications and availability revealed by the company itself.
Despite belonging to a low price group, the handset comes with sleek looks and a spec sheet worth writing about. So without any further ado, let’s take a close look at Micromax’s Canvas Amaze.
Specs and software
The Canvas Amaze sports an IPS LCD capacitive 5-inch touchscreen display, with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (~294 ppi pixel density), covered by scratch and shatter proof Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Underneath the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable (up to 32GB via microSD) internal storage.
Camera wise, the primary sensor, located on the rear, is a 4128 x 3096-pixel 13MP shooter, featuring autofocus and LED flash, while it is also recording HD 720p video. The secondary camera, that is sitting on the front, shoots at 5MP, which is rare for a low-range smartphone, such as the Canvas itself.
When it comes to connectivity, the Canvas Amaze has been fitted with 3G antennas, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS (with A-GPS), dual-SIM, FM radio and microUSB v2.0. Accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor and compass have been included as well.

The Canvas Amaze comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop straight out of the box.
