Leaked AnTuTu Benchmark test shows Galaxy S7 SoC JAW-DROPPING performance

Samsung received a lot of criticism prior to revealing the detailed specs of its much-anticipated Galaxy S7. Now, things seem to be falling in place, as the device went through AnTuTu benchmarks and thanks to the newly unveiled Exynos 8 Octa 8890 SoC, it delivered astonishing results.

The Galaxy A7 also made it to the US FCC certification website, disclosing details on dimensions and battery capacity, but that’s all we know so far.

In more details, the smartphone that was assumed to be the Galaxy S7, undertook the benchmark tests under the model number SM-G9300 and was first spotted by the folks over at GSMArena.

The smartphone reportedly posted a record-breaking high score of 103,692. Unfortunately, nothing more has been mentioned or confirmed, so, do take all the information currently at hand with the usual grain of salt.

The Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor that is mentioned above was manufactured by the company earlier this year, and it has been built on 14nm FinFET fabrication process and features Samsung’s first custom-designed CPU based on 64-bit ARMv8 architecture.

What comes to agitate things even more for customers, is the latest information, according to which Samsung will release the Galaxy S7 with the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 under its hood for some markets, but a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC will be released to other parts of the world.

Other intel on the S7 suggests that is will house a 5.2-inch display equipped with a 3D Touch-like pressure sensitive gimmick, which brings in mind Apple’s  iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

As for the unannounced Galaxy A7, all we know so far is that it will weigh 155 grams and measure 151.5×73.95×6.95mm – according to TENAA listing – while it will feature a battery capacity of 3300mAh – note that the current A7 sports a 2600mAh battery.

Moreover, TENAA listing supports that the Galaxy A7 (2016) will come with a Full HD 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of on board storage (expandable via microSD up to 128GB), a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front facing camera.
